The Fruit Market, Old Meets New

The mural was commissioned by We Love HU for the parking spaces below their luxury apartment development, Egremont Russet in the Fruit Market. The mural is a stylised representation of the area, featuring a mix of shops and people from throughout the previous 70 years. Painted using white and black masonry paint over two days in 2018 the mural brings to life the hustle and bustle of the busy market area, which has seen a huge transformation over the last few years.
